A full set covers every natural lash, delivering bold, dramatic volume and definition with long-lasting impact — ideal if you want a striking, glamorous result. A half set applies extensions to every other lash, creating a subtle fullness and gentle length enhancement for a more understated, everyday look. Your technician can help you decide which is best suited to your desired outcome.

3. How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions typically last the natural life cycle of your lashes, which is around 3–4 weeks. As your natural lashes shed, the extensions will gradually fall with them. We recommend booking an infill appointment every 2–3 weeks to keep your lashes looking full and fresh.

4. What is a lash infill and when do I need one?

A lash infill is a maintenance appointment where new extensions are applied to replace any that have naturally shed since your last visit. Infills are more time and cost efficient than a full new set and are recommended every 2–3 weeks to maintain the best results.

5. Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

When applied correctly by a trained technician, lash extensions are safe for your natural lashes. It is important not to pull or pick at your extensions as this can cause damage. Following the aftercare advice given by your technician will help keep both your extensions and natural lashes in the best condition.

6. How should I care for my lash extensions?

For the first 24–48 hours after your appointment, avoid getting your lashes wet and keep them away from steam and heat. After this, brush your lashes gently with a clean spoolie daily, avoid oil-based products around the eye area, and sleep on your back where possible to prevent friction. Following these steps will help your extensions last as long as possible.

7. How long does a lash extension appointment take?

A full set typically takes between 90 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the look you're going for. A half set takes approximately 60–75 minutes. Infill appointments are shorter and usually take around 45–60 minutes.

8. Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?

We generally recommend avoiding mascara with lash extensions as it can be difficult to remove without disturbing the bond. If you do want to use mascara, only apply it to the tips and use a water-based, lash extension-safe formula, never oil-based.
